Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (or TRE®) is a simple series of gentle exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. Created by Dr. David Berceli, PhD, TRE safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.
Some of the benefits may include:
- Less Worry, Anxiety & Stress
- Reduces Symptoms of PTSD
- More Energy & Endurance
- Better Sleep
- Less Relationship Conflict
- Reduced Muscle & Back Pain
- Increased Flexibility
- Greater Emotional Resiliency
- Decreases Symptoms of Vicarious Trauma
- Healing of Old Injuries
- Relief from Chronic Medical Conditions
In this series of 5 TRE sessions, Kim will gently guide you through the process of learning the exercises and titrating up the natural vibration mechanism within your body to find the ongoing benefits of this practice. It is recommended that individuals be present at all of the sessions to work on building the skills upon one another. This is an in person workshop to insure proper alignment and safety. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat.
